What's in the BIR forms for you?
Completing the BIR forms online here, is free! You may use it as much as you like. We currently have no plans to charge for this facility in the near future.
The reason it is free, is because we are hoping that some of those who use it, will decide to enrol for our online bookkeeping package, which is not free. The pricing schedule for that is here.

Do you store our data?
The data you enter onto the BIR forms is only stored in the database, if you press "Save". The purpose of that is purely for your convienience. The data will be held securely and will never be disclosed to anybody without a court order. Even then we would probably fight it.
The .pdf forms themselves are temporarily stored in a folder online. As they approach one week old, they are automatically deleted. The reason they are stored initially, is for compatibility with some browsers which are unable to accept a file 'streamed' to them and therefore their computer needs to download in a more 'traditional' manner. It's true, we could configure it to delete the files after a few minutes, but we find it useful at the moment to be able to refer to a previous file, when we are contacted for troubleshooting.
Your profile data is stored in a database if you chose to create one. Creating a profile is entirely optional and is purely for your convienience when completing forms (the information is used to automatically populate some of the fields). The information is not sold or shared with any third party and is held securely. We may, use it ourselves, if we need to contact you.

Can I advertise on your website?
Maybe. Please contact us and we can discuss the options available.

The form I need is not available! What can I do?
If you want a tool for a form that is not yet available here, you may 'SPONSOR' the forms development which will cause it to be ready within 4 weeks. Please contact us if you want to do this.
Sponsoring a form can give you an advertisement on the form when it is ready (or another form if you prefer). It can also include links to your own website if you have one.

Can I contribute to speed up this project?
Financial contributions are always welcome. The speed of the website/application development are directly related to the amount of funds available. Please contact us if you would like to contribute.

The menu on the left isn't working or seems weird! Why?
We've tested this in most common browsers and it seemed to work ok for us, however, we did find that in Opera's browser, if you are using the "Fit to Width" option, then the menu and the forms may appear messed up. We suggest that you don't use that feature on this website.
If you are using another browser and it still isn't working properly (it's supposed to unfold to the right), you can always click on each level that you can see and you should be able to find the links on the resulting page. The menu system uses .css and JavaScript. Please let us know if you have trouble. If we don't know, we can't fix it!!

I can't open/download the .pdf files I create. Why?
You must have a .pdf reader (program) on your computer, in order to view the created .pdf forms. The most common of these is Acrobat Reader. If you do not have Acrobat Reader or something similar, we suggest you download Acrobat Reader .
If you are using Internet Explorer Please ensure that you are using version 6, or above. If so, please contact us, as we believe that it should work perfectly in IE6 and above.
If you are using Firefox please ensure that you are using the latest version.
If you are using Opera browser we were unable to make it download and open any .pdf files (even standard .pdf's from other sites). We were testing using version 9.1. Since upgrading to the latest version (currently 9.2) the problem seems to be solved and it's working nicely. If you are having a problem and you are already using 9.2, please let us know.

The form I fill up, seems all messed up in my browser. What can I do?
Please make sure you are using the latest version of whatever browser you are using and that you have all common/default features enabled. This website requires, CSS, JavaScript and cookies (for user authentication). Please also set your 'text size' setting (if your browser has one) to 'Medium' and zoom to '100%' or '1:1'. Your screen resolution should be at least 800 x 600 pixels. Please ensure that you are viewing the website in a 'Maximised' browser (rather than in a little window) and also that you have no side panels open (for example, the Favourites panel opened in a side bar).
Different browsers display web pages differently. We do our best to make our site look identical on all platforms and browsers, but sometimes it's almost impossible! However, the good news is, that so long as you enter the right data in the correct fields, the form that will be created when you press the 'Create form' button, will be displayed correctly, regardless of how the editable version looked.
If you still find the forms unusable, for any reason, please contact us and we will investigate and hopefully correct the problem.

I use Opera browser and can't seem to use the forms. What can I do?
Please ensure that "Fit to Width" is not turned on, as this will distort the forms. We have tested the forms on Opera 9.1 and 9.2 and found that 9.1 does not work (it crashes!!) but 9.2 is fine, so please upgrade to 9.2 or later.
If you still have problems, please contact us.

I use Firefox and can't seem to use the forms. What can I do?
We have tested the forms on the latest Firefox version and found that it works fine, so please upgrade to the latest version if you are having problems, before contacting us.
